How to Play Zoneball

This page does not give full instructions for playing Zoneball. The rules are easily learned over 2 or 3 games.

The Zoneball table is hexagonal with 6 pockets.

It has 3 Zone types - red, green, and blue ;

The balls are positioned in the hexagonal rack ;

(6 red starballs, 6 green starballs, 6 blue userballs, and 1 yellow Zoneball) ;

The rack is then placed in the centre of the table, and the white cue ball is placed at any position within any one of the six outer blue zones.

Objective

The basic object of the game is for each player to pocket all their own green or red Starballs, followed by pocketing the yellow Zoneball to win. Some balls can only be played in certain zones, however.

There are two cue balls - yellow and white. The white is a normal cue ball. The yellow is a Zone sensitive cue ball.

The game is totally unique, and allows exciting and strategic gameplay, not seen in any other billiard game.
